Hugh is an experienced legal practitioner, having worked in litigation and dispute resolution across a broad range of legal areas for over 10 years.

He predominantly practices in the areas of building and construction, general contractual disputes, trusts, intellectual property, equity, torts, defamation and property law. He regularly appears as counsel in contested civil proceedings in Federal and State Courts and Tribunals.

Hugh joined Hotchkin Hanly in 2014 and became a Partner of the firm in 2021.

He has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia and was admitted to practice in 2008.
